About Me Crochet Projects Blog
I have admired people who had organized blogs for many years. However, I refuse to make my tumblr or other social media accounts organized. I have put too many disorganized and random thoughts on there for it to feel right putting any sort of organized thoughts on my personal life or projects there, in amongst the "all lower case rambling about thing i'm angry about" and the "50 reblogs in a row of whatever silly meme is popular this month". Additionally, I think it could be fun to have a more organized and manageable system for updating my website. Not everything needs to be its own page listed in the top banner. Some things can just be my musings for the day. Which I suppose is similar to tumblr, but with less memes.
I'm not really sure what I'll put in here yet, which I suppose is the beauty of it. Having it all be under the purview of "blog post" takes some of the pressure off of figuring out how to organize this. If I decide later that something should be linked in other sections of my site, then I can learn how to do that. But otherwise it can live in the realm of "blog post" and be comfortable there.
This probably won't be updated very often. Most likely when I have the energy to put together a more well-thought-out and grammatically correct idea about something that feels anonymous enough to put on the internet. I've got some ideas of potential topics, but I don't know how much identifying information I want to put on this site. That ship has long since sailed on tumblr, but I can at least try to maintain some anonymity on here.
Then again, the very name of this website is the name I want to give myself when I get around to changing my legal name. So I suppose it's more about "what information do I want associated with my soon-to-be-legal identity?" than about anonymity. I don't really mind if people from real life know about my crochet projects, but I'm not sure I want them to see me rant about anime fandom drama.
It is about time for dinner. I'm making an omelet for June and I to share. I don't cook dinner very often lately due to time and health constraints, but I am feeling well enough tonight and she didn't have something already planned. And so, omelet! Which means it will be time to get off the computer soon.
